About Us

Welcome to our website

Soccer

Wallsend United are a very new club established in 2006.  We are self funding and our main aim is to provide a fun enviroment for the kids to play and to give them the opportunity of being part of a football club.

Tony and Maxine started their coaching with Seaton Burn 3 years ago.

Deciding that this was something they both thoroughly enjoyed, Wallsend United came together after alot of months planning and begging letters in 2006.

WE ARE NOW A CHARTERED STANDARD CLUB AND VERY PROUD OF ALL CONCERNED IN MAKING THIS HAPPEN, ALL WITHIN TWO YEARS.

Tony and John are manager and assistant manager of the Under 15 team, who most of the kids Tony has known for a number of years.  Bill Appleby has also stepped up and helps coach the team so hopefully we are looking at winning the league this season.

The Under 13's are run by Lorraine Rochester and Alan Scott as manager and assistant manager.  With outside help from Mike Walker, Ken Tait.

The club has also now appointed Lorraine Rochester as the Child Protection Officer, First Aiders and Child Welfare officer .

Our long term aim is to bring in a mini scoccer team and a girls team.

Again Battle Hill Primary School and Mr Arthur have been fantastic in provided us with a pitch and training times.  We are eternally grateful to him for this.

We have again also been very lucky with our sponsors, with Northern Rock coming in with a very generous donation to sponsor the Under 13's home strips.  Alan Morton with his company Dale Link Private Hire have sponsored the away strips

As a club our objectives are simple.  We aim to bring the fun into football and promote fair play.

Who knows what is instore next season for Wallsend United
